Felix from Stray Kids and Japanese singer LiSA collaborate on song for ‘Solo Leveling’

Japanese singer LiSA has collaborated with Felix of K-pop group Stray Kids for the new song ‘ReawakeR’, the opening theme for the anime ‘Solo Leveling: Season 2: Arise from the Shadows’.

“The 23rd CD single ‘ReawakeR’ will be released on Wednesday, March 5, 2025!” LiSA announced this in an Instagram post.

The post also included the song’s teaser trailer.

“ReawakeR” was composed and arranged by Hiroyuki Sawano, who was behind the music scores of the animes “Attack on Titan”, “The Seven Deadly Sins” and “Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn”, among others.

Sawano also wrote the anime’s soundtrack for seasons 1 and 2.

The anime follows Sung Jinwoo as he becomes one of the strongest hunters and fights monsters to protect the human race from destruction.

“Solo Leveling” was first released as a fantasy web novel in 2018 and was then adapted into an anime television series in January 2024.

In 2023, Stray Kids and LiSA collaborated on ‘Social Path’, one of the songs from the group’s first Japanese extended play.

Stray Kids held their “DominATE” concert last week at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

Among LiSA’s songs were featured in the anime “Sword Art Online,” “Angel Beats” and “Demon Slayer.” — Mariel Celine Serquiña/BM, GMA Integrated News
