Toronto man accused of posing as a surgeon and giving injections to four women – CP24

Toronto police say a man has been charged after allegedly posing as a surgeon.

A 29-year-old Toronto man has been charged after allegedly posing as a surgeon and performing cosmetic procedures on several women.

Toronto police said they were notified Friday afternoon of an “assault with a weapon” incident that occurred in the area of Bay Street and Queens Quay West.

Investigators learned that a man approached four women at a dog park and allegedly identified himself as Harvey Archambeau, a surgeon at a local hospital.

Police allege that the man offered cosmetic procedures to the women from his home.

“The victims visited the home and received injections of what they believed to be ‘Botox’, ‘Ozempic’ and ‘Salmon DNA’,” police said in a news release on Saturday.

The women then became suspicious of the man’s behavior and soon learned that he was not qualified to perform the procedures. According to police, the victims then contacted them to report the incident.

The man, identified as Yusak, was arrested Saturday and charged with seven counts of assault with a weapon and one count of general nuisance.

Police released a photo of the suspect as investigators suspect there may be more victims.

They ask anyone with information to contact them anonymously at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477) or www.222tips.com.
