Playback singer and actress Anju Joseph gets married for the second time, shares beautiful PIC with new husband Aditya

Playback singer and actress Anju Joseph tied the knot for the second time on November 30, 2024. The singer-actress officially announced the news in a new post on Instagram along with her husband Aditya.

In a simple Instagram post, the singer wrote the caption, “My hopes and dreams for the future,” as the couple tied the knot at the Alappuzha District Registrar’s Office.

The singer wore a traditional and vibrant Kerala saree in gold and white colours, while her groom wore a traditional kurta and veshti.

The singer-actress was previously married to Anoop John, the director of reality show Star Magic on Malayalam-language TV channel Flowers. The couple previously ended their relationship, which Anju Joseph herself announced through a candid video on social media.

In the video, the singer talked about how marriage left a traumatic mark on her and shared her journey of healing.

For those who don’t know, singer and actress Anju Joseph started her career as a playback singer and rose to fame as a contestant on the reality show Idea Star Singer Season 4. Later, she worked as a playback singer in several films including Doctor Love, Ormakalil Oru Manjukaalam, C/ O Saira Banu and more. She is also widely recognized for her music videos on YouTube.

Later, she co-hosted the show Super 4 season 2 and also appeared as a singer in Start Music Aaradhyam Paadum. Moreover, the singer turned actress in 2022 when she appeared in the film Archana 31 Not Out, starring Ponniyin Selvan actress Aishwarya Lekshmi.

Directed by Akhil Anilkumar, the film is a comedy-drama about a 28-year-old schoolteacher who decides to get married after losing her job. However, her life takes a chaotic turn when she faces unexpected challenges while preparing for her wedding to an NRI groom.

Besides Aishwarya, the film had actors like Hakkim Shajahan, Dileep Mohan, Indrans, Ramesh Pisharody and many more in key roles. Moreover, the film featured Anju Joseph as the protagonist’s colleague, marking her silver screen debut.
