Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens: predictions, picks, odds

play

The Week 13 matchup could undoubtedly be a preview of the Super Bowl, with the Philadelphia Eagles (9-2) taking on the Baltimore Ravens (8-4).

Can anyone stop Saquon Barkley? Philadelphia’s running back made another case for MVP as he tore apart the Los Angeles Rams for the team’s seventh straight win. The Eagles are starting to run away with the NFC East title, but Sunday will be a solid benchmark for whether it can get past one of the best rush defenses in the league.

What can help you cope with a heavy loss? Beat up little brother. John Harbaugh once again got the best of his younger brother as the Ravens comfortably defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on “Monday Night Football” to get back on the winning track. Now a big test comes to town in a big matchup.

Lorenzo Reyes: Eagles 29, Ravens 23

Philadelphia plays extremely balanced football, although the rushing game is the anchor. Baltimore’s defense has some holes. Roquan Smith’s availability could also be problematic. I think the wrong team is favored here, even on the road.

Tyler Dragon: Eagles 27, Ravens 26

This is the game of the week with two running backs in ideal situations. Saquon Barkley had one of the best performances by a running back in NFL history last week. The Eagles have the best overall defense in the NFL. Philly’s defense should make the difference.

Richard Morin: Ravens 24, Eagles 23

Lamar Jackson. Jalen hurts. Dirk Hendrik. Saquon Barkley. If you like teams that run the football – and do it exceptionally well – then this game should provide fireworks. But in terms of a prediction, I have to say I like the Ravens at home.

Jordan Mendoza: Ravens 35, Eagles 32

Derrick Henry vs. Saquon Barkley will be must-see TV. While it’s a battle of the best rushing offenses in the league, Baltimore is better and stops the streak. It’s a shootout, but the Ravens do just enough to win a thriller.
