Maryland man arrested with stash of 3D printed ghost guns and assault weapons

ST. MARY’S COUNTY, MD A Maryland man wanted for fleeing a domestic assault was arrested at his home, where detectives discovered a massive weapons cache, including 3D-printed ghost guns, assault rifles and other firearms, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office reported. Office announced Tuesday.

Jerod Adam Taylor, 39, was taken into custody Nov. 12 at his home in Lexington Park. Officers initially searched for Taylor after he reportedly fled a domestic incident at a home in the 20000 block of Goddard Road on Friday.

When investigators searched his property, they seized 80 firearms, including multiple 3D-printed ghost guns, an AK-47, a fully automatic rifle, a short-barreled rifle, more than 1,300 rounds of ammunition and body armor.

Taylor was arrested without incident and taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, where he awaits a bail hearing. Authorities continue to investigate the source of the weapons and any links to other criminal activity.
